House part 2

Wendy moving us in to the kitchen - cleaning and preparing (all the things Cath doesn't like to do)

A quick view of the garden from the kitchen

House part 7

Thank goodness for Bob the plumber.
He saved us from flooded bathrooms - replumbed the shower and patched in the dishwasher - but he did advise us against running our network and speaker cables through the sewer pipes

The finished floor in the lounge - nice - thanks David & Wendy (for not having faith in me to do the job and kindly paying a professional!)

House part 4

Even with Michaels roofing instruction.... I still managed to break my finger by falling ONTO the roof

Meanwhile Michael did some wizardy under the house to make some crazy metal bolts "disappear"

House part 15

Michael showed me how to tile the roof without hruting myself

Cath laughed her pants off

Serge making a shelf out of a crate

... he is really very handy (at least that's what the girls say)

Gang member Cath started painting with her trousers on looking

Bag upon bag of sawdust

Ethan "helped" by hammering all the screwdrivers into the ground....

The lounge with nothing in it (except my

beautiful wife)

Another Korean dude ripping up the lino in the hall

Our colour consultant Vin...

...advised Cath that Brown is pink and that all rooms should be painted Orange if possible

Her assistant agreed and then ate the cheesy balls

The boys room

Before (carpeted)

After (destroyed and leaning)

House part 22

Serge takes down the curtin rails (which he finds funny)

Meanwhile the Korean dude rips up the carpet - he spoke no English so he found everything funny

Rory would rather chase seagulls than ride the scary rides at luna park

Ethan and I went to visit USS Kitty Hawk in the harbour

Rory's toast

Please note when we get to England that he likes his toast this way:
Jam + Honey + vegemite (he doesn't like marmite)

Serge helps at the car boot sale

the classic moment this day was when ethan, trying to be helpful, altered our signs which read O.N.O to read O.N.O.L.Y (which in ethan spell = only)

We had to learn where the nearest fire station was...

... due to my consistently clumsy and dangerous cooking techniques.

These are 2 saucy birds I met one night on the lash (Jenny and Danielle)

Trip to luna park

They went on these death defying rides as well as the 1940s "house of fun"
Rory chose this day to cement his "funny farm" look

Cath turns 40

.. and boy did she make a big fuss about it

He is very proud because it has 650 pieces!
It took 2 days to build an it is HUGE

Egg Rolling at Easter

Here is our effort - great eggs especially Caths (pictured) - which has 2 pink skis attached to the bottom. My egg had a beard. The left overs were scoffed by passing seagulls and dogs.....

The adventure begins

With a dead snake and a lovely view.
On the way we saw wallabies and huge spiders

More adventure...

we found more sand, some skinny dipping (everyone had a go)
and a digger

The adventure continues....

This is Mackerell bay where we wanted to go.....
We never made it - but we did have an adventure
